A 37-year-old Jim Thorpe woman is facing charges of driving under the influence after state police stopped her upon responding to a call about an erratic driver at 5:30 p.m. July 7 in the area of Route 903 and the Maury Road in Penn Forest Township.

Police said they received a call that a vehicle was proceeding erratically and committing numerous traffic violations. Upon responding, police said they located the vehicle and operator, at which time it was revealed she was driving under the influence.Police said she was taken for a blood test. The charges will be filed pending the laboratory results.
