The Chestnuthill Supervisors passed a resolution this week recognizing Charles Edward Zielkowski on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout.

Zielkowski recently built and installed three park benches along the Dave Fleetwood loop in the West End Regional Park."These benches were designed and built to last 100 years, unless a tree falls on it," Zielkowski said. "They are made of Trex (composite decking material) and stainless steel screws. And since Trex will warp with time, I used two sets of concrete bench ends on each bench."The supervisors expressed their gratitude to Zielkowski."It is individuals like you that make this a great place to live," said Chairman Chuck Gould.
