State police at Frackville are investigating two incidents of criminal mischief, both occurring in the same area.

Troopers said unknown criminals used a key or other type object to scratch the passenger side of a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu, owned by a 56-year-old male, causing damages of $500; and the passenger side of a 2012 Ford Focus, owned by a 35-year-old male, also causing damages of $500. The incidents occurred in the area of 83 Lower St., village of Morea, Mahanoy Township, sometime between 6 p.m. and midnight on Thursday.Anyone with information concerning these incidents is asked to call troopers at 570-874-5300.
