Police are looking for two black men accused of assaulting and robbing a Port Carbon, Schuylkill County, man early Sunday morning.

Walter Medina, 57, was walking along Pike Street, near Washington Street, in Port Carbon just before 2 a.m., when a dark-colored car pulled up near him, according to state police at Schuylkill Haven.The suspects got out of the car and struck Medina on the head with their fists.Police said $300 was stolen from Medina's wallet before the men got back in the car and fled north on Pike Street.Medina walked to a convenience store to report the crime. He was treated at the scene for a cut on his head before being transported to Schuylkill Medical Center, S. Jackson St., in Pottsville.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-739-1330.
