Palmerton Area School Board, on an 8-0 vote Tuesday with Director Darlene Yeakel absent, approved the following extracurricular positions for the 2015-16 school year:

- Leigh Keenan, head boys's basketball coach, $6,029- Brett Zieber, assistant boys' basketball coach, $3,947- Jeremy Coleman, assistant boys' basketball coach, $3,947- Rodney Strohl, head girls' basketball coach, $6,029- Ralph Andrews, assistant girls' basketball coach, $3,947- Sue Lynn, assistant girls' basketball coach, $3,947- Justin Petersen, head wrestling coach, $6,029- Erick Kresge, assistant wrestling coach, $3,947- Rick Petersen, assistant wrestling coach, $3,947- Rick Anderson, volunteer wrestling coach- Trevor Bartholomew, volunteer wrestling coach- Brielle Rhodes, junior high cheering adviser- Linsey German, cheering adviser, $2,385The board also approved, on an 7-0 vote, with an abstention from Director Joshua Smale, the following:- Jodi Smale, cheering adviser for the 2015-16 season, at the rate of $2,385
