State police at Lehighton are investigating a report of a stolen car.

Douglas J. Kuntz Jr., 22, of Lehighton, said his dark green Volkswagen Golf was stolen in Parryville between 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday.Police said the vehicle was left not far from the theft site, the 500-block of Centre Street.Franklin Township police had the car towed before Kuntz reported it stolen.Anyone with information can contact state police at 610-681-1850.
