Mahoning Township police are investigating a situation that unfolded Sunday morning involving a newborn baby.

Police Chief Audie Mertz early Tuesday would confirm only that a baby was born, and that police are investigating.He would not release details because the matter involves juveniles.Mertz said he expects to be able to release more information at the end of the week.Chris Parker
