Bret and Linda Huttenstine of Hazleton have announced the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Lynn, to Matthew Rimbey, son of Patrice and Tom Rimbey, also of Hazleton.

The bride-to-be received a bachelor of science degree in chemistry and secondary education from Elizabethtown College in 2012, and her master's degree in science education from Lebanon Valley College in 2015.She is a chemistry teacher at Norwalk High School in Connecticut.The prospective bridegroom earned a bachelor of science degree in biotechnology from Elizabethtown College in 2012, and his master's degree in molecular medicine from Drexel University in 2013. He is currently pursuing an MBA from the University of Connecticut. He is a development associate at Alexion Pharmaceuticals in Connecticut.The couple were members of the Bishop Hafey Class of 2008, and they finished their high school career at Marian Catholic High School.They will wed on July 30, 2016, in Holy rosary Church, Hazleton.
