State police at Lehighton reported investigating a hit-and-run crash on Oct. 12 about 6:18 a.m. along Route 248 at the Palmerton on-ramp in East Penn Township.

Troopers said a 2011 Chevrolet Traverse, operated by Jennifer R. Steward, 35, of Jim Thorpe, was struck in the rear while she was stopped for a stop sign. Steward was not injured. The other driver fled the scene.
