CYO Arts & Crafts show winners announced

Winners of the annual District 5 Catholic Youth Organization Arts & Crafts show, held at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic School in Lehighton, were honored Sunday morning at the church.

Students from kindergarten through eighth grade were eligible to compete.Five first-place awards were handed out in both the arts category and the crafts category. St. John Neumann School in Palmerton swept the arts honors, and three of its students took top prize for the crafts. The remaining two crafts winners were from Our Lady of the Angels Academy in Lansford.The kindergarten class from St. John Neumann won first place for the group competition.Students who placed in their respective classes of competition were:ARTSKindergarten: 1.
