A Carbon County resident is facing charges after his dog allegedly killed a neighbor's dog. State police at Hazleton said the incident occurred along Berwick Street in Banks Township, on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.

Troopers said Joe Hornick's German shepherd fled his residence and ultimately attacked and killed Joe Holly's dog, which was fenced in a yard.Hornick was cited for dog law violations, troopers said.
