One person sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash at 11:17 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Mountain View Drive and Short Lane in Polk Township.

Police said the crash happened when a 2005 GMC Canyon operated by Shawne M. Bailey, 30, of Gilbert, was traveling southbound on Mountain View Drive, approaching Short Lane, when she failed to yield to a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox operated by Janet M. Cardello, 62, of Kunkletown, before making a left turn onto a driveway off the south side of Mountain View Drive, and collided with Cardello, who was eastbound on Mountain View Drive at the time.Police said the Equinox crashed into the side of the Canyon, which came to rest in the driveway facing south.Police said the Equinox needed to be towed from the scene.Cardello was injured.Bailey was cited for careless driving. She and two passengers, Justin Conklin, 5, and Jacqueline Conklin, 2, both of Gilbert, were uninjured.Police were assisted at the scene by Borger's Towing, the West End Ambulance and Polk Township Fire Police.
