The Towamensing Concerned Citizens' Group has organized a meeting for the public to learn more about the PennEast gas pipeline to be built through Carbon County.

The meeting will be held 7 p.m. Thursday at the Towamensing Fire Company, 105 Firehouse Road in Palmerton, near the corner of Trachsville Road and 209.Guest speakers will be Maya Rossum of the Delaware Riverkeeper and Dory Hippauf of the Gas Drilling Awareness Coalition.
