Carbon man facing multiple counts

A Carbon County man is facing multiple counts following a traffic stop.

Nesquehoning Police Chief Sean Smith stopped Mark Sagl, 22 Beach Lane, Lake Hauto at 9:21 a.m. Friday at Oak and Catawissa street, for speeding, 48 mph in a 25 zone. During the stop Smith learned that Sagl was driving under suspension-DUI related. Smith also noted the vehicle he was driving had an expired inspection sticker, and the right passenger side taillight was broken.Smith told Sagl that his vehicle would be towed. Sagl's father, Leonard Sagl, arrived on scene to pick up his son. Smith then left the scene and about two minutes later he observed Leonard Sagl driving on Route 209 without his son in the vehicle. Smith then returned to the initial traffic stop scene and obsvered Sagl's 1997 Ford Ranger pickup truck was gone.As a result Smith charged Sagl with two counts of driving under suspension-DUI related, expired inspection sticker, and general lighting requirements.
