Three Marian Catholic High School students received awards during the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science State Competition held at Penn State University. Ryan Darrough of Sugarloaf received an $8,000 scholarship to the Penn State University Park Eberly College of Science with two first place awards in behavioral psychology and the Pennsylvania Science Talent Search Award; Patrick Darroughof Sugarloaf received a second place in biology; and Henry Hinchey of Slatington was awarded a second place in chemistry.
