The Carbon County Salary Board set the salaries for county employees in the court system for 2014 during its annual meeting this week. Motions to establish this year's salaries were made by President Judge Roger N. Nanovic II. Each employee will receive a 3 percent raise in 2014.

All motions are effective Jan. 1 unless otherwise noted.

Court Administration

Ÿ Set the position of three law clerks** at $32,086.60 per year;

Ÿ Set the position of one law clerk (temporarily) at $32,086.60 per year;

Ÿ Set the position of one certified court reporter at $24.91 per hour;

Ÿ Set the position of one lead judicial secretary at $20.09 per hour;

Ÿ Set the rate of $45 per day for primary on-call pay; and $25 per day for backup on-call pay
