Freezing drizzle possible tonight; snow Saturday

The National Weather Service says spotty freezing drizzle may occur late tonight.

More winter weather is heading our way this weekend. Low pressure will be developing northeastward off the mid Atlantic coast Saturday night and Sunday.

A mixture of precipitation including snow is expected. This should not be major storm. Uncertainty exists regarding precipitation types and amounts of each type.

The forecast:

Tonight: Scattered flurries, mixing with freezing drizzle after 10pm, then gradually ending. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26. West wind around 13 mph.

Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 40. Northwest wind 11 to 15 mph.

Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. Northwest wind around 8 mph.

Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 40. Northwest wind 8 to 10 mph.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 25.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 37.

Saturday Night: Snow likely. Cloudy, with a low around 31. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

Sunday: A chance of snow. Cloudy, with a high near 38. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
