HARRISBURG - Attorney General Kathleen G. Kane today announced that the Attorney General's Child Predator Section arrested Tyler Kennedy, 29, of 601 Willow Road, Orwigsburg, and Kerry Biehl, 33, of 1150 Muhlenberg St., Reading, Berks County, for the sharing, downloading and distribution of child pornography.

Kennedy was arrested on Thursday, July 25 and charged with five counts of possession of child pornography, five counts of distribution of child pornography and one count of illegal use of a communications facility. He was preliminary arraigned before District Judge James Reiley and held in lieu of $50,000 bail.Biehl was arrested on Friday, July 26, and charged with three counts of possession of child pornography, three counts of distribution of child pornography and one count of illegal use of a communications facility. He was preliminary arraigned before District Judge Paul J. Hadzick and bail was set at $75,000.Both defendants will be prosecuted by Deputy Attorney General Christopher J. Jones of the Attorney General's Child Predator Section.Kane thanked the Pennsylvania State Police and the Reading Police Department for their assistance with the investigations.
