The Tamaqua White squad came out on top in an offensive shootout to earn a win in the Panther Valley 9-10 Little League Tournament.

Tamaqua White used clutch hitting during a late rally to overcome an early deficit and defeat Lansford, 14-13

With a runner on third and two outs, Tamaqua's Jimmy Atkins ripped a double to tie the game. Atkins would later take home for the winning run on a passed ball.

Michael Stewart led the Tamaqua offense with three hits. Logan Hess, Mike Shlanta and Justin Lewis chipped in two hits apiece. Lewis also earned the win after coming on in relief.

Lansford's Rickert paced the visitors' offense with three hits, including a double. Edawrds, Clouser and Rupert each had two hits.

With the win, Tamaqua moves to 2-3.
