A Monroe County man escaped injury after his vehicle struck a deer on Thursday.

State Police at Lehighton said Christopher Stoner, 37, of Stroudsburg, was operating his 2004 Mazda Tribute south on Old Route 115, 98 feet north of Playground Road, at about 5:58 p.m. when he struck a deer.Stoner was not injured. His lap and shoulder belt were used.
