Schuylkill County incidents probed

State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on several incidents investigated by troopers in Schuylkill County.

Ashley Webb, 20, of 1106 Moyer's Station Road, Pine Grove, Wayne Township, reported she had friends stay over at her home overnight of Friday, Nov. 11, into Saturday. Later, about 11 a.m., she discoverd an Ipod had been stolen.Troopers said unknown criminals cut open a chain link fence on the property of Wire Tele-View, located along Fountain Road, north of SR125, in Frailey Township, and removed a generator. The incident occurred sometime between 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 14, and 10 a.m. on Tuesday.Robert Mattis, 41, of 1006 W. Mountain Road, in Hegins, Hubley Township, reported someone removed both center caps on both passenger side wheels on his 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt while parked in the driveway of his home. The incident occurred sometime between 10:30 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. on Tuesday. Value of the caps was set at $20.Employees at the Hetran Industrial Plant, located at 70 Industrial Park Road, in West Brunswick Township, reported at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, a bullet hit the side of their building. It is not known if it was a stray round from a hunter or someone target shooting in the area. No one was injured.Samuel Frey, 55, of 397 Schuylkill Mountain Road, in Wayne Township, reported someone attempted to purchase $890 worth of items from an online retailer using his Pay-pal information. The incident occurred on Oct. 24.
