Monday morning proved to be the coldest in the recent freeze which has covered the eastern portion of the commonwealth. This time and temperature sign along Route 443 in Mahoning Township reports a frigid minus-11 degrees at 6:30 a.m., although actual temperatures weren't quite that low.
