Hanging Lanterns: Quoizel Inc. is recalling outdoor hanging lanterns sold June 2008 - January 2010. The glass lantern can separate from the top support ring and fall, injuring people who are nearby. Consumers should contact Quoizel Inc, 877-316-2589, www.quoizel.com, for a free replacement.

Sump Pumps: ITT Water Technology Inc. is recalling sump pumps and effluent pumps sold December 2009 - July 2010. Sump pumps installed without ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) protection can pose an electric shock or electrocution hazard if touched by the consumer. If your pump is affected, a technician will be sent to your home to replace or repair the pump.

Handlebar Stems: Salsa Cycles is recalling handlebar stems sold April - October 2010. The handlebar stems can crack or break, posing a fall hazard. Consumers should contact an authorized Salsa Bicycles dealer for a free inspection and a handlebar stem replacement or a full refund. Backpacks: Black Diamond Equipment is recalling Avalung backpacks sold January - December 2010. The air intake tubing can crack under cold temperatures, causing the unit not to function as intended, posing a suffocation hazard.
