Pleasant Valley boys clinch district berth

The Pleasant Valley boys basketball team earned a berth in the District 11 playoffs by defeating Lehighton on Monday.

The Marian boys and Palmerton girls also gained important victories. The Colts rallied past Shenandoah to clinch the Schuylkill League Division 3 title with the help of Nativity's 47-44 win over Mahanoy Area.
