Tamaqua Legion installs officers

ANDREW LEIBENGUTH/TIMES NEWS The Tamaqua American Legion Post 173 held its installation of officers recently at their post. The installation was followed by a free lunch for members and guests. Regular members pictured from back left are Andy Whetstone, 2nd Vice Commander; Mike Morgans, adjutant; and Al Breiner, Sgt at Arms. From front left are Larry Kabana, 1st Vice Commander; Mary Zelonis, 13th District Commander; Joel Perry, Post Commander; Ed Smith, post finance officer and 13th District Deputy Commander; and Jack Deesing, service officer, District 13. Not pictured is Andrew Leibenguth, post historian and 13th District public relations officer.
