Kathy Schafer, daughter of the late David and Betty Strohl, became the bride of Greg Bryfogle, son of the late Stanley and Shirley Bryfogle, on April 17 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lehighton. The Rev. Robert VonFrisch officiated the single ring ceremony.

Given in marriage by Eugene Smith of Lehighton, the bride chose Tanya Schafer of Jim Thorpe as maid of honor. Tina Green and Sandy Green of Jim Thorpe and Kodie Adams of Albrightsville, served as bridesmaids.The bridegroom chose Gene Brown of Jim Thorpe as his best man. Ushers included Todd Ahner of Lehighton, Bob Meckes of Jim Thorpe and Steve Breiner of Lansford.Following the ceremony, the couple welcomed family and friends to a reception at the East Penn Social Hall in LehightonThe new Mrs. Bryfogle is a graduate of Jim Thorpe Area High School and Carbon County Area Vocational-Technical School, with a license to practice cosmetology. She is employed at Vacation Charters Ltd.Mr. Bryfogle is a graduate of Lehighton Area High School. He is employed at Kovatch Mobile Equipment Corp. in Nesquehoning.The newlyweds reside in Jim Thorpe.
