The Torco Supply softball team of Lehighton recently captured the postseason championship of The Northside Softball League at The Jake Kislan Complex located in Drifton. Torco finished in fourth place during the regular season, compiling a 26-7 record. During the playoffs the teamoutscored their opponents 164 -87 while going 8-2. Torco opened postseason play with three-game sweeps of The Otherside and six-time defending champion Sutton Refrigeration. In the finals, Torco and Nocchis both won two games to force a deciding fifth game, where Torco rolled to a 19-4 victory.
