The auxiliary to R.W. Fritzinger Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7215 in Walnutport will be holding its 14th annual basket social/bake sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 5. The social will be held at Blue Mountain Fish & Game Association on 4190 Wood Drive in Walnutport.

Proceeds will benefit the auxiliary’s general fund, and the bake sale proceeds benefit the Pawsitively Purrfect Pet Rescue.

The auxiliary is asking local business if they would like to donate a basket, gift certificate or monetary donation.
