Palmerton Police Department reported the following incidents:

Maximum axle weight: Byron Zurita, 40, Corona, New York, Vilma Averos-Jara, 41, Newark, New Jersey, and Marlon Jimenez-Cruz, 33, Belleville, New Jersey, charged Jan. 3 in the 600 and 700 block of Mauch Chunk Road.

Citations: Police also issued one citation each for speeding, traffic violation and vehicle violation.
