The 22nd annual Jim Thorpe Earth Day Festival will be Saturday. Rain date is Sunday.

Kickoff

: 9 a.m. with the Lehigh River Clean Up.

Events:

Free live music, handmade crafts, basket raffle, delicious food, kids crafts, bounce house, face painting, eco-workshops and more.

Activities will be held at the Josiah White Park, Dimmick Memorial Library, Race Street Park and Horizons.

The festival is a free to the public; donations are always appreciated.

Dimmick Memorial Library Schedule:

10-11 a.m.: The Lorax Book Reading (Inside)

11-11:45 a.m.: Mason Dixon Strings

11 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Coloring Contest (inside)

11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: The Giving Tree Book Reading and Leaf Crown Craft (inside)

Noon to 12:45 p.m.: That’s What She Said

1-1:45 p.m.: Wonderground

1-2 p.m.: Waiting for Wings Book Reading and Craft with Mari Gruber from Bear Mountain Butterflies (inside)

2-2:45 p.m.: Timplistic

3-3:45 p.m.: Golden Twine

4-4:45 p.m.: Hatter

5-6:30 p.m.: Dakini

Josiah White Park Schedule:

9 a.m. to noon: River Clean-Up. Meet by the green bus. All participants will get a free food voucher.

10-11 a.m.: Sound Birds

11 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Eamon’s Clone (in between sets)

10 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Face Painting with Kim

10 a.m. to 6 p.m.: Bounce House

10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Train Rides (fee)

11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Magic Stew

Noon to 4 p.m.: Meet Woodsy Owl & Smokey Bear

Noon to 5 p.m.: Kids Craft Corner

1-2 p.m.: Mason/Wilson Line

2-2:30 p.m.: Hula Hoop Contest

2:30-3:30 p.m.: Free Range Folk

4-5 p.m.: Bandanna Brothers
