Tamaqua Area School Board approved or ratified the following personnel matters at their meeting Tuesday night:

• Hired the following people as substitute custodians at an hourly rate of $13.13: Audrey Florea, Eugene Boyle, Adam Bachert, Adalyn Faust, Angelo Cerimele and Preston Schaeffer, all of Tamaqua; and Thomas Graham of New Ringgold.

• The substitute custodian list.

• The following mentors: Andrew Michalik, Vanessa Gimbor, Krisen Klingaman, Samantha Bubel, Christa Evanko, Elizabeth Marakovits, and Heather Bieler.

• Hired the following part-time paraprofessionals at a rant of $13.50 an hour: Delyah Evans, Tuscarora; Teanna Hunsicker and Caridad Schuetrumpf, both of Tamaqua.

• Kamryn E. Abdo of Pottsville as a substitute guest teacher.

• Accepted the resignation of Yarilis Velasco, as health room assistant, effective Oct. 16.
