One driver was injured and taken to a local hospital while another was treated at the scene following a two-car crash on Route 54 in Hometown.

Emergency responders were dispatched to a report of an auto collision with injuries about 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

The vehicles, a Honda and a Subaru, collided on Lafayette Avenue just east of the Hometown intersection, with one vehicle coming to rest against a tree on the front lawn of a house at Lafayette and Ardmore avenues.
