Towamensing Township supervisors on Thursday addressed the following:

• Bruce Miller was appointed to the Planning Commission.

• According to the roadmaster report, as soon as the weather breaks, the road crew will be going out to start cleaning up brush along the roads.

• In an update on the recycling center, the township is getting a new garbage truck in November.

• A letter from Buckeye pipeline to announcing they will be trimming and cutting brush along the pipeline, so if you see people in the restricted area, it is just the men working.

• The Palmerton Library sent a thank you card for the donation made to the library.

• The next board of supervisors meeting is 7 p.m. April 1

• Zoning officer hours for March are 4-6 p.m. March 11, 18 and 22.
