2021 primary election: Petition-filers rush to meet filing deadline

Monday was a hectic day for the Carbon County Bureau of Elections as candidates aspiring to elective office in the May 18 primary election took the time to file nominating petitions to get their names placed on the respective ballots, one day ahead of the filing period deadline (4 p.m. today).
