The Schuylkill County commissioners opened bids for the Tower City Sixth Street ADA improvements at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

The following companies bid: Barletta Materials, $97,465; Heim Construction, $97,757.05; and Semmel Excavating, $108,176.19.

County Administrator Gary Bender said the contract will be awarded at a later date.
