The Carbon County Commissioners agreed to participate in another free giveaway of federal surplus cheese and butter, and issued a plea for volunteers to help in the distribution. The upcoming distribution will include unemployed workers with unemployment compensation cards. Other eligibles include senior citizens 65 and older, disabled veterans, and those persons qualifying for public assistance, food stamps, or medical assistance.
