The names of two victims who succumbed in a one-car crash Tuesday at 5:45 p.m. on Route 145 in Lehigh Township, Northampton County, have been released by the county coroner's office. Some details of the crash appeared on Page 1 of Wednesday's TIMES NEWS.

Coroner Zachary Lysek said Frank Pfeiffer, 89, and his wife, Geraldine, 86, were pronounced dead at the scene.He ruled the deaths were accidental and due to blunt force trauma.The accident happened in the area of a stone retaining wall at 1223 Riverview Road (Rt. 145) and took place during dark and rainy conditions. Officials said Frank Pfeiffer was driving the car southbound when it struck the wall in front of the home of Charlene Walper.It was reported a nurse and two off-duty paramedics attempted to administer CPR to the couple after they were removed from the wreckage.The Northampton Ambulance crew also made attempts to revive them but the man and wife eventually died at the scene.
