A Monroe County teen is being sought by police for an assault and robbery in which a gun was used.

Pocono Mountain Regional police are seeking the whereabouts of Elijah Castera, 18, of Blakeslee, on two counts of robbery and one count each of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, simple assault, theft and receiving stolen property.According to police, at 9:04 p.m. Wednesday they were dispatched to the Martz bus station in Mount Pocono for a report of a female being assaulted by three males.On scene, officers spoke with the female, who told them she was at the Crossings with the three males. She said on the way home the driver of the vehicle, who she identified as Castera, said he had to use the bathroom and pulled into the bus station.When he stopped the vehicle, an unidentified front-seat passenger pulled a gun and told the victim he wanted stuff.At that point the victim was able to get out of the vehicle. Once outside she said she was punched in the face twice by Castera. Castera then robbed her of $220 and a credit card. Castera then flashed a handgun, which he had in his waistband.The female victim suffered injuries to her nose and lips, police said.Anyone with information concerning Castera is asked to call police at 570-895-2400.
