Panther Valley School Board - Personnel

Panther Valley School Board approved the following personnel items last week:

• Resignations: Jo Anne Damian, elementary school teacher, retiring effective at the end of the school year; and Cortnee Hartman, accounts receivable/tax clerk, effective, April 18.

• Hire: Leah Huynh as special education administrative assistant to include student data administration specialist, effective June 1, at a rate of $17.50 an hour; and cafeteria workers at contract rate: Theresa Faenza and Catherine Pastore, head cooks, $19.30; Lisa Yarnell, assistant cook, $19.04; Jennifer Malloy and Kimberly Digiglio, cashiers, $17.60; Margaret Pasco, food prep, $18.40; Angela Hernandez, server, $17.39; Donna Gott, general worker, $17.39; and Susan Turturro (substitute), $15.89.

• Conferences: Valerie Matika and Jamie Yarish-Gallagher, April 24, HR meeting, Carbon-Lehigh Intermediate Unit 21, $40.20, mileage.

• Three-credit courses: Hannah Mordaunt, two courses; Casey Hedash, Kayla Kiraly, Theresa Williams and Elizabeth Hoherchak, one course, all at $516 a credit; Julie Gower, one course at $625.60 a credit.

• Course: Dennis DiCarlo, school leadership and principal K-12 certificate program, at CLIU 21, $975.
