Carbon County

• Beaver Meadows Food Pantry, Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church, 19 Second St., Beaver Meadows.

Serves households in Packer Township. Distribution is the third Thursday of each month from 6 to 7 p.m. For more information, call 570-956-5980.

• Christ Evangelical Free Church, 2420 Blakeslee Blvd. Dr., West, Lehighton, 570-386-4547.

Third Saturday of the month, 9 a.m. to noon.

• Dinkey Memorial Church Community Cupboard, 1742 Dinkey Road, Ashfield, 610-377-4242.

Dinkey has a food cupboard available to those in need of supplemental food resources. It is available to members of Dinkey Memorial and St. John’s, and to residents of East Penn Township. The distribution is the third Thursday of every month from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in Dinkey’s Social Room, located below the sanctuary.

• Ebenezer E.C. Food Pantry, Jim Thorpe, 570-325-2855. Meets every second Saturday of the month from 9-11 a.m. at Memorial Hall at East 10th St, Jim Thorpe

• Grace Community Church, 15 W. Ridge St., Lansford, 570-645-2212 Located in the basement of the church, entrance is in the back. Open the Fourth Saturdays of the month from 10 a.m. to noon. Senior Box Program: Distribution Second Saturday of the month in rear of church.

• Lighthouse Baptist Church, 1349 Green St., Lehighton, (Franklin Township). Food distributions take place the second Wednesday of each month between 4 and 7 p.m. and the fourth Saturday of each month between 9 a.m. and noon. For more information, call 610-377-0641.

• Meed’s Memorial United Methodist Church, 126 W. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning. Serves parts of Nesquehoning, Hauto, and Lake Hauto. Food distribution is the third Thursday of each month from 1 to 3:30 p.m. For more information, contact Paula Anthony at 570-645-5873 or Mary Beth Beck at 570-427-4071.

• Palmerton Food Pantry serves households in Palmerton, Towamensing and Lower Towamensing townships, and the Palmerton School District including Bowmanstown and is located in Saint John’s Towamensing Lutheran Church, 2915 Fireline Road, Palmerton.

Palmerton Food Pantry, housed at St. John’s Lutheran Church along Fireline Road in Palmerton, is sponsored by the Christian Action Council of Palmerton Area Churches.

This year, the food pantry will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 10 and 23, March 9 and 22, April 13 and 26, May 11 and 24, June 8 and 28, July 13 and 26, Aug. 10 and 23, Sept. 14 and 27, Oct. 12 and 25, Nov. 9 and 22, and Dec. 20.

Susie Arner, co-director, Palmerton Food Pantry, said cash donations may be sent to CACPAC, P.O. Box 213, Aquashicola, PA, 18012.

• Panther Valley Community Food Pantry, Panther Valley Elementary School, 1 N. Mermon Ave., Nesquehoning. Food distribution will take place on the third Wednesday of each month from 4 to 6:30 p.m. and the first Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Panther Valley Stadium (99 Cortright St. Lansford) Check the Panther Valley website for updated information and a registration form.

• Summit Hill Food Pantry Summit Hill Heritage Center, Corner of Hazard and Chestnut Streets, 484-225-1768.

Enter at side alley, fourth Tuesday of the month from 10 a.m. to noon.

• Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., Lehighton, 610-377-4303

Households in Lehighton; Mahoning, Franklin and East Penn townships; Weissport and the Lehighton Area School District, including Parryville, and is located in. Food distribution is every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Tresckow Area serves households in Banks Township and is located in the Banks Township Municipal Building, Cherry and Fern streets, Tresckow. Food distribution is from January to October, the fourth Saturday of each month from 9 to 11 a.m. and for November and December, the third Saturday of each month from 9 to 11 a.m. For more information, contact Betty Milore at 570-454-8209.

• Weatherly Area serves households in Weatherly, Lausanne and Lehigh townships and East Side Borough and is located in the Zion’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 335 Third St., Weatherly. Food distribution is the second Tuesday of each month from 2 to 4 p.m.

Monroe County

• Pleasant Valley Ecumenical Network, 2334 Route 209, Sciota, 570-992-3136 Pantry Hours: Tuesdays 9 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. and second Saturday of the month, 9 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. Eligibility: West End Residents - Hamilton, Polk, Jackson, Chestnuthill, Eldred, and Ross Townships. Income guidelines apply - ID/Proof of residence required. Client must make an appointment no later than noon the day before distribution.

• Seed Of Faith Ministry, 1087 Scenic Drive/Route 534, Kunkletown, 610-951-4303. First and third Monday, 9:30 to 11 a.m. Bring own bags For residents of Saylorsburg, West End and Albrightsville only. Income guidelines apply. ID and proof of residence required.

• West End Food Pantry, Eldred Comm Center, 516 Kunkletown Road, Kunkletown, 610-895-4444

First and third Saturday of month, 9 a.m. to noon. West End Residents only (Bring own bags)

• Effort United Methodist Church, 178 Merwinsburg Road, Effort, 570-629-1890

Second and fourth Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon. Limited to 12 visits only. Income guidelines apply. West End residents only.

Northern Lehigh

• Northern Lehigh Food Bank, 7884 Center St., Slatington, 610-767-9525. Distribution on first, second and third Thursday of month, 4 to 6 p.m. and last Saturday of month 9:30 a.m. to noon, second and fourth Monday of the month from 1 to 3 p.m. Donations accepted Tuesdays, 9 a.m. to noon.

Schuylkill County

• Call Schuylkill Community Action for referral information at 570-622-1995, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

• God’s Providing Hands Food Pantry, 200 Miner St., Coaldale. Serving Coaldale, Tamaqua and West Penn.

Third Tuesday 11-1 p.m.

• G-Lady’s Community Food Pantry, 220 Green St., Tamaqua. A walk-up site, 570-486-8389, www.stokesministry.org. G-Lady’s Community Food Pantry is an outdoor food pantry that is available to all members of our community. Doors open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. If you need assistance in between after hours, please contact Pastor Sharon Stokes.

• McAdoo Area Food Pantry, Van Hoekelen Greenhouses Inc., 220 S. Hancock Street, McAdoo, PA 18237.

Contact: Marion DeBalko, 570-929-1628. Area served: McAdoo and Kline Township. Distribution schedule: Odd months, third Saturday, 9-11 a.m.

• New Ringgold Area Food Pantry, Christ Church McKeansburg, 6 S. Race St., New Ringgold, PA 17960. Contact: Jason Schally, SCA, 570-622-1995. Area served: New Ringgold, McKeansburg, Port Clinton, Drehersville, Snyder, Andreas, and East Brunswick, Part West Penn Twp.

Distribution schedule: Even months, second Saturday, 8:30-10:30 a.m.

• Peoples Pantry at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mauch Chunk and Greenwood streets, Tamaqua, 570-668-2180. zionlcof@verizon.net Emergency food resource. By appointment. Call for details.

Diapers are distributed by appointment usually on the third Saturday of the month between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church.

• Tamaqua Area Food Pantry at American Primitive Methodist Church, 57 Hunter St., Tamaqua
