The Tamaqua Area High School will begin the process for student parking space selection for the 2022-23 school year. Parking spaces are available to any senior or junior who has completed the required district drug testing, has a valid driver’s license at the time of selection and has submitted the TAHS Parking Space Request Form.

Parking spaces are chosen through a lottery selection with seniors receiving priority. Parking spaces are $10 and only cash will be accepted. Money is due when a student receives the parking permit. To be considered for the parking space selection, eligible students must pick up and return the TAHS Parking Space Request Form to the high school office before Aug. 4. Summer office hours are Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Students will be notified by Aug. 11 if they win a parking space. All parking permits will be handed out at the TAHS office from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 15. For more information, contact the office at 570-668-1901 or email Mrs. Shirvinski at lshirvinski@tamaquasd.org.
