Carbon County court — ARD

Twelve first-time offenders were placed in Carbon County’s Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition probation program on Monday by President Judge Roger N. Nanovic II.

If a person successfully completes all conditions of the program, their record will be wiped clean. However, if they fail to complete it, or are revoked from it, then they would face trial on all pending charges. A person does not admit guilt in entering the program.

All were placed on driving under the influence charges for one year with conditions.

Placed were:

Angel Luis Donato Rosario, 31, of Allentown, was arrested on Jan. 4, by Palmerton police for DUI of a controlled substance.

He was assessed $600 for the cost of the program and license suspended for 60 days.

Jonathan Ryan Geil, 39, of Northampton, was arrested on Oct. 31, 2021, by state police at Lehighton for DUI of alcohol.

He was assessed $550 and license suspended for 60 days.

Lewis James Hann, 34, of Palmerton, was arrested on Nov. 6, 2021, by state police at Lehighton for DUI of alcohol.

He was assessed $450.

Kris Tyle Knappenberger, 26, of Lehighton, was arrested on Nov. 6, 2021, by state police at Lehighton for DUI of alcohol.

He was assessed $550 and license suspended for 60 days.

Korey Michael Spairana, 21, of Tamaqua, was arrested on Nov. 12, 2021, by state police at Lehighton for DUI of alcohol.

He was assessed $550 and license suspended for 60 days.

Alicia Marie Wellington, 33, of Nazareth, was arrested on Nov. 27, 2021, by state police at Lehighton for DUI of a controlled substance.

She was assessed $600 and license suspended for 60 days.

Alexa Figas, 30, of Weatherly, was arrested on April 25, 2021, by state police at Hazleton for DUI of alcohol.

She was assessed $500 and license suspended for 30 days.

Joshua R. Moretti, 31, of Lansford, was arrested on March 9, 2021, by state police at Lehighton for DUI of a controlled substance.

He was assessed $600 and license suspended for 60 days.

Johnathan Michael Arthur, 22, of Pocono Lake, was arrested on March 20, 2021, by state police at Hazleton for DUI of alcohol.

He was assessed $550 and license suspended for 60 days.

Frank Joseph Bokan Jr., 22, of Lehighton, was arrested on Sept. 4, 2021, by state police at Fern Ridge for DUI of a controlled substance.

He was assessed $600 and license suspended for 60 days.

Emily Marie Horan,Rodi Lui Monsanto Gomez, 25, of West Hazleton, was arrested on Aug. 1, 2021, by state police at Hazleton for DUI of alcohol.

He was assessed $450.

Each defendant must also pay court costs of over $1,000 and a $50 per month supervision fee while in the program.
