February 8, 2006 - Joe Tout is introduced as Northern Lehigh’s new head football coach at a press conference in the school’s library. Tout, an assistant since 2000, takes over for Jim Tkach, who led the Bulldog program for 14 years. The Panther Valley graduate and former all-state lineman unofficially took over the helm after Tkach had heart problems and the staff came together and it was decided Tout would be the successor. It became official when the school board approved the hiring. Tout currently owns a 102-77 record after his team went 11-4 and won a district title this past season.
