Carbon County Commissioners acted on or discussed the following items on Thursday.

• Approve a request from the county sheriff for a proposal from Johnson Controls of Allentown to install a new badging printer and camera in the sheriff’s office at a cost of $4,900.

• Approve an addendum to the Area Agency on Aging legal service agreement dated April 1, 2020 with Sebelin & Sebelin P.C. of Palmerton, to reimburse for allowable costs incurred for a total not to exceed $5,800 from April 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021. All other terms of the agreement remain the same.

• Commissioner Rocky Ahner announced the county has received a $1,000 donation to the animal shelter from David Snyder of Palmerton.

• Commissioner Chris Lukasevich thanked everyone who already displayed interest in sitting on the shelter advisory commission. The one-page application for the commission can still be submitted until the end of July by visiting the county website at www.carboncounty.com and clicking on Animal Shelter Advisory Commission Application.
