Carbon incidents investigated

State police at Fern Ridge reported the following incidents in Carbon County:

• On May 24 at 8:39 a.m. they were dispatched to Interstate 80 eastbound at mile marker 273.3 in East Side Borough for a theft report. A 61-year-old man from Shamokin reported two catalytic converters were stolen from two construction vehicles - a 1995 Chevrolet truck and a 2004 Ford truck. Value of the missing converters was set at $1,000.

• A 32-year-old man from Frackville, Schuylkill County, who troopers declined to identify, was stopped on May 29 at 4:31 p.m. along Interstate 80 in Kidder Township for a traffic violation. He was found to be impaired and placed under arrest for DUI.

• On May 17 at 11:39 a.m. a 43-year-old woman from White Haven reported the catalytic converter on a 2007 Acura was stolen while it was parked on Centre Street in East Side Borough. The theft occurred sometime between May 14 and 15. Value of the converter was set at $800.

• On May 27 at 11:33 a.m. a 40-year-old man from Brooklyn, New York, reported tires were dumped at property he owns at Chestnut and Pinecrest lanes in Kidder Township. Troopers said they observed multiple tires on the property.
