State police at Frackville are investigating a crash in Walker Township. The crash occurred around 5:45 p.m. in the 500 block of Valley Road.

Two vehicles traveling in opposite directions collided in a curve with both cars going over an embankment coming to rest on their roofs.

Two Tamaqua ambulances were on scene treating the victims.

The New England fire company responded to the scene. Area fire police closed the roadway between Catawissa Road and Brook Lane.
