State police at Lehighton reported investigating a hit and run crash on Feb. 18 at 7:35 a.m. at the intersection of Spruce Hollow Road at Hahns Dairy Road in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County.

Troopers said Lisa D. Young, 59, of Kresgeville, was stopped on Hahns Dairy Road in a 2008 Toyota Yaris at a posted stop sign when another driver attempted to turn left off of Hahns Dairy Road onto Spruce Hollow Road and struck the Yaris. The other driver continued northbound on Spruce Hollow Road.

Young was not injured. The hit and run vehicle was described as a black in color pickup truck driven by an older man.
