State police at Frackville are looking for a Hispanic man who assaulted a 64-year-old New Ringgold man last week.

Police describe the man as 5 feet, 11 inches tall wearing a blue surgical mask and baseball cap.

The incident happened on Old State Road as a man asked the victim where a Hector was. The assailant then struck the man in the leg with a “pipe-like object” and went to his car, police said. The man then went inside his house, got a gun and fired a round into a nearby embankment to scare the assailant who then left. The vehicle is described as a dark Honda or Toyota sedan with a red and green symbol on the side.
