More Schuylkill County employees have tested positive for COVID-19.

Doreen Kutzler, interim human resources director, said Monday 18 employees have tested positive since Dec. 24 and are in quarantine.

Contract tracing has been done by human resources and seven other employees are in quarantine due to exposure, Kutzler said.

Since Dec. 2 and including today, 54 employees are symptomatic. Thirty four have been exposed.

Sixty three employees were in quarantine last month but have since been cleared by their physician to return to work, Kutzler said.

A breakdown of departments was not provided.
