Lehighton Borough Council took the following action on Monday:

• Approved a proposal in the amount of $6,350 from K&M Builders for lock upgrade at the Public Works building.

• Approved the 2021 police chief employment agreement.

• Adopted a resolution setting the 2021 salaries of the nonunion employees.

• Adopted a resolution declaring a snow emergency on Dec. 16.
